Court Dismisses Two Lawsuits From Frenchman Cambridge Water Users

The Furnas County District Court has dismissed two lawsuits from Frenchman Cambridge Irrigation District water users against the State of Nebraska. The lawsuits alleged, among other things, that the State improperly administered surface water for the purposes of maintaining compliance with the Republican River Compact in 2013 and 2014. The water users had sought a reported $219 million in damages. The Court's order of dismissal is attached below.
